Help! / Trouble with LionEditor to edit iPad saves

I know everyone's using a PSP and stuff and I don't really see much iDevice hacking for FFT:WotL so I'm here to ask if LionEditor is capable of editing an iPad save? The last I tried, after I placed my edited file back into my iDevice through iFunBox, the game is unable to read it. If anyone's able to enlighten me; does LionEditor work and am I just doing it wrong? Thanks. :D
