okay thats easy enough, just time consuming.  My question is once that is done and I have inserted my custom sprite, how do I go about applying a special job and make it so the sprite appearance is fixed, like "holy knight" or w/e to the sprite, and then add it into my party?

alright, new question, it pertains to custom spriting so I figured I'd just bump this topic instead of being a nuisance and making a new one.  in shishi, sprites 56-5B are all male squires, then the 3 "???" spirite sets.  are any of these male squire sprites used in game?  and if not, how would I go about putting them to use after I overwrite them with my own sprites? 

awesome.  thatll make my plans easier.  I am currently using chapter 1 delita and algus for custom sprites since i just finished chapter one.  wanna add in some more custom sprites and since those 3 should be useable that will make it easier

I noticed in shishi there are 3 "???" sprites.  are those useable for custom sprites?  I kinda wanna make Rad into a Red mage, and the 2 female knights that join you with Rad special sprites and make them into holy knights.

only have the psx version.  it worked i love the new sprites

Been an avid FFT player since it came out, long time lurker here as well, just never joined.  My problem is that I want to make use of some of the beautiful custom sprites that were made, in both battle and formation screens.  shishi covered the battle screen sprites no problem.  However, I am utterly lost when it comes to finding or accessing the unit.bin of my FFT iso.  So thats my question, how do I access it and what do I access it with?
