News:

Use of ePSXe before 2.0 is highly discouraged. Mednafen, RetroArch, and Duckstation are recommended for playing/testing, pSX is recommended for debugging.

Help! / Re: Emulator freezes
April 05, 2011, 09:26:52 am
I'm having no issues with ePSXe. I played the original about 3 times with it and I'm now playing Easytype 1.3 version without any issues.

My specs:
CPU: Athlon 64 X2 5200+
RAM: 4 GB DDR2
VGA: ECS NVidia 512MB GeForce 8800 GT
OS: Windows 7 64 bits Ultimate

ePSXe Config:
Video: Pete's OpenGL Driver 2.9
Sound: Eternal SPU Plugin 1.41
CDROM: ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.7.0
BIOS: scph1001.bin
2 Memory Cards

If you need the detailed info on each video/sound setup I can paste here too. I don't play via CDROM drive, I play straight through the ISO (which I think it's way faster).

Hope it helps

Help! / Translating
April 05, 2011, 03:48:08 am
Hi guys, first post here (in fact 2nd but the other one was a reply),

I have a project to translate FFT and I started it by writting all the dialogs down in a TXT format file a long time ago (http://www.gamefaqs.com/ps/197339-final-fantasy-tactics/faqs/22690)... and now I'm really curious if there's any way to translate this game via hacking. Could anyone point me a direction to go here?

Thanks in advance! :)

It's translated until Zirekile Falls to save Ovelia. And uh, the last update is from 2005... but yeah, I'm still curious on how could anyone do that. I'd help too.

Thanks ;)
