I've been working on messing with attacks and abilities, and when I go to use them in battle, Say I target an enemy with the new attack spell I made, it doesn't show the damage or the % to hit and the status, but when I use it, it still works. Same works with the Buffing spells I made. Target an ally, doesn't show the status or the percentage of the move, but it still works. Anyone know what could cause that?

Thanks so much guys! Now, to make a character leave after a specific battle, would I need to use Ravens event editer? Or can I do that VIA ENTD?

Thanks again! One last question.. I've followed the Custom Character tutorial by Jon, but when I enter the fight, I can't use the Job and character I created, they don't show up in the fight at all.

Edit: They join the party, but after the fight, with no notification. And they cant be played in the battle. =/. Even though I set them to Controlable, they join as guests.

I've been working on modding my own game, just for the lol, really. And well, I was wondering if there was a way to break 999 cap on damage, HP, MP and such. I know the final boss has over the regular 999 limit, and was just curious on how that worked.
