Hey everyone,

Sorry if I simply can't find the answer that's more obvious to others, but I've spent a ton of hours trying to set up a working Lion War mod to play on my Mac and have found nothing but failure so far. I will list below what I have tried so far (to my best memory). Any guidance is appreciated.

Note: I am simply here to enjoy The Lion War as a player and have no goals to learn how to mod atm, so just seeking help with getting it to load and play on my laptop

Hardware:
MacBook Air (M1)
MacOS Sanoma

I downloaded "The Lion War" mod from this site (v2.031) and have a vanilla copy of FFT for PSX (I also have a PSP copy of TWotL if that helps).

PPF-O Matic doesn't appear to support Mac from what I can find (although there was someone who made a mod of that several years ago that doesn't seem to work now), so I went with "MultiPatch" app.

MultiPatch has me click to add the patch/mod, then click to add the original game, and then browse to name and save location for final "rom"

For emulation lot's of people recommended Duckstation/Retro Arch, which after installing tells me the file is bad or isn't the correct format (I've tried .bin, .iso, etc)

Just in case I have tried other emulators like OpenEmu, etc with similar results.

I have also deleted files and tried to start over from scratch.

Any guidance out there?
