Help! / Starting a new mod

Hey guys I want to start a mod where some of the story is changed to allow for certain things and units to join and I have messed with fft patcher but I don't understand as and coding and all that I was wondering if anyone would want to join me on this and I will be happy to add in so of your ideas too!
