I've tried everything. This program just doesn't seem to work at all.
I did read somewhere in the other thread that a specific version was the only one that worked, and only on an unmodded ISO.  I'll see if that works.  Are there no alternative programs?

First of all I'm in the middle of modding WOTL. Shishi sprite editor only seems to change inbattle sprites. To change up prebattle and formation sprites, (which I have the program to do) I can't seem to find the BIN files needed to make those changes. I'm assuming I need some kind of decompiler?

Text editor gives me an error message on BOOT.BIN5, something about a DTE.

Will I need a hexeditor?
Can I add a job class to be playable?
Can I add more unique characters? (ex. orlandeu or cloud)

mm. So many questions. My long term goal is to make my own patch, like a modified storyline. More challenging battles. ect.

Sweet. I've been up for like a day and a half now modding things by trial and error.
one last question though. I see under "patches" people have made modified versions of the game, how is it they've modified the storyline? as far as changing up characters and battle speech and so forth?

I had a pretty good idea for a story. It entails a completely different storyline, new characters, different bosses, and new consequences for losing a battle other than "game over."
It would take me a really long time to redo all the sprites though. :/

I'm not even sure how to use this program. I'm assuming I start with "decrypt ISO?"
when I try to do that, no ISO's show up on PSP. On further investigation, the filetype of the game is CSO.  same with the text editor.  anyone have any suggestions?

Even if it's just a modification of perameters for an existing attack. Converting the effects shouldn't be too bad. I just need some help with it. Or would it glitch the game?

I was wondering if there was any way to modify some attacks and associated effects.
To be more specific, I want an attack to be added to worker 8, to make an enemy convert to "traitor status" without damage. whether or not this enemy is humanoid or animal. I would name this move "assimilate" or something like that. I have ninjas capable of poach and speechcraft, but these are unreliable.

If this is possible, and someone's willing to help, I thank you in advance.
