Thanks! That will help me out quite a bit.

I'm already taking  the issues with duplicate maps in some games into account and taking maps from alternate versions where possible. The 2 NES Lolo games from Japan for example have mostly different room layouts.

It'll include every room from every version of every game in the series I can get my hands on.
Basically each game will be a chapter.

I have had trouble getting my hands on these games:
Eggerland Episode 0: Quest of Lala - JP 1996 Windows
Eggerland for Windows 95 - JP 1996 Windows
Revival! Eggerland - JP 2000/2001 Windows

If there are any video playthroughs or anyone knows where I can get these games please feel free to PM me the info.

Yes! Still being worked on. Just tweaking it some before going on to make the maps.

I have a finalized version of Lolo's sprite. I don't think I'll need to do anything more to it.

I have to speak up for the cone, too. I don't think there'll be a single more requested shape either.
I can think of some shapes, though. How about a wide 'beam' shape? Like it starts as a single square in the facing direction, then it widens into 3 and then it continues on all the way to the edge of the map.
I second the square shape, too.
Maybe a ring shape. Rings can have a 'thickness' to them. Basically like a variable bow range without a fixed origin.

Lol. Yeap, she does. Then there's their son, Lulu.

I'm updating the back walking tiles. They looked a little awkward in motion.
I also made sure the tail is a little bit more defined and made it overlap the feet at it should.
Also, I pretty much got his movement engine down. So it should feel just like the NES games.
I can finally start on the stage objects.

There were 2 for MSX/MSX2, 2 for FDS, 1 for FC, 3 for NES, 1 for GB, and 2 for PC.

Yeap. Yet another project from me. Well, this one should be finished in a couple of weeks due to it's simplicity.

I present to you the complete Eggerland / Adventures of Lolo series as a single huge GameMaker project.

Sweet! That was such a huge thorn in MY side that I stopped working on my hack a couple of years ago. Now with this major stumbling block gone, I can go back and try to finish it.

So the bomb/item effect hacks just change what effect is referenced, right?

While I agree that the Dark Knight sprite based off the FF3ds model sucks as a DK,  it's actually not so bad as a Dragoon base since the Lancer sprite deviates quite a bit from what the traditional look that Kain originated.

Yeah, I mean a level editor. I guess if I wanted to give you the feel of making your own game I'd also give the user the ability to make a simple title screen, intro, ending & credits sequence.

Thinking about it, I could also put in the ability to hide all the level creation tools by letting you create a key code of your choosing that locks all those functions once you're ready to distribute your creation.
