Question 1
Should we have 3 move monsters(Chocobos, Goblins, etc in vanilla) or seperate moveset monsters(Ultima Demons, Apandas, Worker 8 )? Seperate moveset monsters will mean the removal of Monster Skill and Monster Talk.

[X] - Yes, Armor and Accessories only The items in arena are really well balanced imo and allow for a lot more strategy in teams for roles etc.

aw damn, when i got around to it i was gonna abuse the hell out of gastrafitis/earth slash/earth clothes. I guess skip sort of beat me to it.

yeah, the white palette looks really nice but its conflicting with the purple from the hair.  maybe make it pinkish like the other pink accents on it or make it a sort of white-gray mix.

Speaking of Ninja, I'd actually argue (as much as I hate to admit) that they probably want Two Swords Innate back. I don't think anyone's even used them yet, which is kind of stark considering how whored they always were in AI tournaments. They would just need to (maybe) lose some PA and probably be forbidden from having Martial Arts Support (and maybe but probably not Concentrate Support).

Yeah, that's a lot of maybe, but since we talking about Ninja and Ninjutsu (since Throw doesn't fit anymore) anyway....


I want the 2Swords innate back too - like Damned said, as long as their PA is low (which I think it already is) ninjas won't be over-used.

for bows, there is 1 that has a range of 6 assuming no height, and the rest are 5.

for guns there are 3 that have a range of 6 regardless of height, and the rest are 5.

And since longbows (from what I've seen) do more damage while also having the height-boosting range, they beat guns for me.

I would actually argue that guns are a little too weak since longbows outclass them easily with a little bit of height.

I'm in favor of 33% last song/dance.  

Masmune adding regen would work i s'pose, but im against having kiyomouri have protect/shell.  hardly any white magic was used in the tourney iirc.

X-Pot is fine IMO, it was more of a disadvantage when the AI used x-pot on undead since I could hit higher with other attacks.

Agree w/ ethers needing buff

Lore: just needs more damage output IMO

Bards/dancers: agree. I remember seeing philsovs dancers run out in to the open on a few matches after starting a dance.  The AI is pretty much suicidal with these things if you give them the move they need.

Finger guard: If you wanted it to be free I don't see an issue with that seeing as no one used talk skill last tourney - that being said i think it needs some buffs.

I think mimes are fine with the innates they have atm... if anything buff their hp.  from what I saw there was just an absence of healing/support for them.

Agree with ignore height being reduced.

the dancer cloths need to be fixed as well. Will giving them 0 WP make the AI not use them? 2WP is silly anyways. either give it some or none.  also always protect/shell on them is OP imo. I see that on the cloths and a few of the knight swords  :shock:

ah, again I was fortunate (this time with the map selections)

GG Skip - IMO your team was crafted much better than mine (seriously, best in the bunch imo), the archers just had the advantage this time.

great games philsov, I think we can both agree that I was lucky to have my archers virgo as both of your item-using dancers were pisces. Not to mention I had a few lucky reverse-frogs.

contray to archer, I completely agree that thief is pretty much completely useless in these tourneys.

I agree with pretty much everything The Damned listed for ways to perk up their class, ESPECIALLY EVASION!  The values for thief should be much more generous considering their low pa and crappy innate weapons.

as for abilities, it would be nice to get a few usefuls in there besides steal heart, but im assuming that's quite a bit of work so... im not going to suggest anything since I cant help do it :)
