Thanks. It actually could have went either way; if your ninjas went for the paladins while the monks were down after they both went, you probably would have taken it.

If anything, blame Phoenix Blade & Cursed Ring, two of the stupidest things in Arena right now.  :|

Round 2: Ugh, that map really sucks. That chokepoint and that corner can screw over so many teams. Almost made that comeback, though.



Also, whenever someone can get a chance, could my other new team Last Hurrah get a match or two. I really need to see how that team performs as a whole.

Welp, that was a close one, indeed. Cursed Ring & Bizen Boat once again show how broken they are currently. Kind of glad I lost here, at least my team went down swinging unlike the little to no fighting chance it would have had against Wiz's team should it have won. GG, Gaignun.

Doesn't matter how the AI uses it, the fact is Bizen Boat is simply not balanced for Arena the way it is currently. That's like saying how Vanilla Calcs can use CT5 Holy to one-shot entire maps in one action, but yet not acknowledge the fact that it's broken so there's no problem with it. Then again, this is Arena and not Vanilla, so...that might be a bad example. But you see where I'm going with that.

Could be a possible solution, I think. Maybe not so much for MP Restore, but for Absorb MP? It could work I suppose. But I think it still needs to become evadable at the very least or have its numbers lowered a bit (or both).

Yeah it is, actually. Sure, the AI typically uses it as a disrupt ability, but it also does use it even when the enemy mage isn't casting anything at the time. I see what you're saying, but the problem with BB is not only that it's AoE, but the thing is both instant AND unevadable. That alone makes it way too good. Not to mention it also doesn't give a care about fury or faith, has no cost whatsoever, and can potentially hit an entire team, unlike most interception abilities which either require charging, are subject to evasion, are subject to faith, is single target, isn't 100% guaranteed to hit anyway (i.e. Insult, Mimic Daravon), can be resisted/avoided/protected against by various equipment in some way or another, or any combination of the above. Add to the fact that the skill is present on a class that has naturally good MA values and can potentially be MA stacked (not that people MA stack just to get more MP damage from BB mind you, I mainly say that for those untis that have stuff like Chiri, Koutetsu and what not, and just happen to have Bizen Boat in their arsenal), and it get quite stupid to deal with. And what's worse is that Bizen Boat can screw over, not just mages, but any unit that has to rely on MP to use their skills to be worth anything. Sometimes, this can be an entire team.

I agree with Malroth & Damned. Mages already have enough crap they have going against them. Bizen Boat, as it is now, is too good and needs to be dealt with.

Confirmed that the Shieldrender works, too.

All units have Shieldrender, Escutcheon II & Counter equipped. The thing works, folks.

For tourneys, you send the team to whoever is hosting the tournament usually, then they usually get posted after the deadline has passed; right before the tourney starts. For non-tourney teams though, all you have to do is make a post in the Team Submissions thread and post whatever teams you want. Just look at some teams in the Team Submissions thread to get an idea on how it's done. It's easy. People have anywhere from 1 or 2 teams to 10+ teams, so there isn't a limit. One of the recorders will get around to making videos at some point. Usually it's Barren, Dokurider or CT5Holy making videos for the teams (used to include me as well, but I stopped for...reasons I won't get into).

The team reminds me of my Lucky Number 108 Team; similar concept, just different approaches/setups.

Samurai was definetly the MVP with her Don't Move/Slow 2 barrage, limiting Zareb's turns and movement, allowing the rest of the team to continue to work together to keep each other alive and SLOWLY, but surely take down the monks and geos. And wow at all of those missed Secret Fists. The RNG - tis a cruel mistress. GG, Zareb.

On another note, I thought Neutralization would turn out to be a failure team, but it actually isn't too bad. Gonna have to find a way to add more DPS, though. Probably gonna change that squire up a bit.

Ditto for mine. Even though Sisters and Dizzy Troupe have been seeing action as of late, I'd like to see more action from Deus Associates (despite their track record so far), Lucky Number 108, and Flying Dragons. Deus Associates especially because I'm not certain whether I should keep them around or axe them completely. So I'd like to request some matches with those three teams in particular please before I do my next major update. A match with Warped Time would be nice as well, but that team tends to drag out matches so it's up to (whoever's recording) to use them or not. I don't mind either way.

Turtle was definetly supposed to have only Slow Dance, not Last Dance. But that round 2 was pretty epic; almost came back.


The RNG's love-hate relationship with my team simply was too much to handle. GG.

If anything, this should be more than enough proof that both Phoenix Blade and Quickening need to be removed.
