Fair enough.  Actually, that's probably a good idea.  Don't FFXI's Blue Mages and FFTA's Ninjas look a whole heck of a lot alike?  Hm... Nope, I'm changing my mind again.  From a second glance, the only issue with the similar appearance are their face masks.  An alternative ninja head accompanying the blue mage into a patch should solve that.  It could be made to look different enough, right?

You could reverse what I said earlier, wait for the Llednar sprite to be finished, and then someone could make a few edits to that and turn the red to blue.  They look similar enough to me.  Llednar just has a fancier (and red) outfit.

Decent so far, shouldn't turn out bad.

Bit off-topic as I'm not making a request (might eventually), but my personal preference for Blue Mage would be FFXI's rather than FFTA's or FFV's.  Might be too similar to FFT's Ninja though...

I'll agree with assassin or someone who attempted to take his life.  I think the reason would be closer to delaying the time until the body is found in order to try and buy some time.

The description of Ifrit's Mantle isn't consistent with the stats you gave it.  It should nullify water or the description could use some tweaking.  Resisting cold isn't quite the same thing...

From what little I know of Kaze, Vincent would be an appropriate base in more ways than one.  I've never actually watched the show, but I've seen him use his magic gun and seen him.  I can't help but wonder if Cerberus was at least partially based on his gun.  (If I remember correctly, the magic gun artifact is or contains a reference to his gun.)

I like it.  Keep this up and it should be an interesting sprite when all is said and done.  I'm not sure what it would be used for other than Llednar himself, but I imagine that's the point in the first place.

Yeah, I know making them not move wouldn't look right either.  I don't have any suggestions on what would make it look right, just saying that it is the only weak area, and in all honesty that isn't all that weak.

The weapons are the only big loss for Altima, but there are (unavoidable) minor losses of detail all through it.  It does look nice, though.  I think the right boob (her right) is a bit deflated compared to the other.

Assassin... in a dress doesn't make sense to me.  Assassins should be mobile, right?  I think a dress would be counter productive.  Even if it didn't hinder movement, loose cloth can be caught on stuff.

Awesome.  The only truly odd thing I notice is the ear.  It looks as if the arm is moving it, but they aren't touching each other.

Classes decided to get hectic for almost a week now, and what little I did with a side view isn't worth showing.  I've only recolored a little and haven't done any shading.  The cape is worrying me and the boots have me uncertain, as far as shading goes.  I'm certain I also repeated a past mistake by not skipping the side view for now.  I'll try the angled back view when my classes calm down and see where that gets me.  (Might take a while.  I'm approaching finals for this semester.)

All you need is to yank the sprites from WOTL for that.  To make it easier, you can get them in this big list:  http://istaken.org/fft/
I'm pretty sure that this thread is for requesting sprites to be made, not ripped from WOTL...

My expectations are all for the finished product.  Demos are for whetting the appetite and satisfying some curiosity as to how it will play.  Don't have time right now, but I'll play around with this demo soon.

Once you changed the arms, they started looking a bit scrunched, but other than that, it is a very awesome Dragoon.  I wouldn't hesitate in replacing the normal Dragoon sprite with that if there was a replacement for each palette.

That really sucks.  You live surprisingly close to me.  I really doubt I'd hear anything (don't browse pawn shops), but if I somehow do, I'll relay it.  I wish you luck with your finances and locating your stuff and the cops with catching these guys.

Do you intend on yanking the dark dragon from WOTL or making one through a color edit?  I would like to hear what tricks you intend for the other chocobos have up their sleeves, but I'm sure you don't want to give away everything.

Yeah, unless you can add a permanent status effect the way the main character has permanent immunity to invite no matter what the job (at least, I think he does), then having a lich character doesn't make all that much sense.  A necromancer that is still alive, sure.  An undead lich, not so much.  Eh, an FFV remake did it though...

If you don't mind my input for it, I think you should change the pallet of the white chocobo a bit.  It looks like it was just sapped of all color and turned gray from it.  Keeping the feet brown could potentially help a bit.  In my experience (watching and seeing, not making anything), white in such things looks better when shaded with a not quite white color, one I favor being a pale blue.  Of course giving the feather tips another color would help break the color drain effect too, such as in these examples:  http://www.blogcdn.com/www.massively.co ... choccy.jpg , http://www.eternal-legend.com/ffxii/hun ... ckster.jpg
