Title: Safe NPC sprite set and job sets for modding new jobs in?
Post by: Damos on July 20, 2013, 10:51:16 pm
Subject says it all, im looking for anyone who might know when jobs and sprite sets in the game are safest for modding, i used simon to create my own Cinder Knight (yes he is as cool as he sounds). But i dont know what other sprits and characters i can safely high-jack for my own nefarious purposes.

If anyone knows off-hand which are most suitable i would appreciate it. Thank you for your time!

there's also Boss Gaffy and Balmafuma.  I'm trying to get a solid list on this myself in another thread...

I've decided that i am hands down the worst person to try to make this game balanced.

i keep ending up with the bracer add 3/3 PA/MA +1 move and jump/spd with immunity to all status effects.

Really though i did do that.

Having a blast though, and just wanted to tell the community how much i appreciated all the work that has gone into this site.

Don't feel bad; to most, 'rebalancing' the game means, "you will game over on each battle at least twice, but often more than that" and occasionally, "I made a few battles completely impossible, but you're going to cheat anyway." It's gotten to where I appreciate the easymode patches more, quite honestly.

Glad you're enjoying it all!

I'm happy with my latest changes.

party level +5 in every story battle raising slowly to +10 in chapter 4. lowered level requirement for item use for enemy's. Added different innates for all monsters. Counter across the board was boring.

Lastly i gutted special characters to make them way weaker. Orlandu is now a shell of his former self.
