Title: Event compiler and accent
Post by: Kakoute on June 02, 2013, 03:48:14 am
Bonjour !

I'm editing some events with EasyVent Editor Super Perfect v1.91, which use Event_Compiler_2.01b.
I would like to put french text so with accents like éèâô.

When I save the event.txt in ANSI, the accents aren't displayed in the game.
When I save the event.txt in UTF-8, the compiler fail. (Unicode is not supported, only saves as ASCII.)

Is there any way to add specials chars ?

Thanks !!

Welcome to FFH, I would love to see your events when you finish them.

Someone was doing something similar for German recently, you can find the info here

Yup,

Well I don't understand because the Font tab doen't exist anymore in the FFTPatcher (v0.482).
Is there a new way to edit font ?

It does not exist in FFTP. This is mentioned in those threads.
