Is it possible to change a weapon sprite ?
Is it possible to modify a weapon stats ?
Thanks in advance !!!!

yes you can also edit the WEP ssheet located 3rd from the last sheet located at the shishisprite editor...
it is the weapons sheet...

you can modify the weapon stats at fftpatcher

goodluck at spriting :)
my first advice for you is to frankensprite XD or headswaps.. that's a good start :)
there is a tutorial somewhere here in the forum... do search for it n_n
and welcome to ffh where all your dreams come true :)

You should first try to make something on your own ShiruXIII, that way you not only gain respect but also learn how to sprite! Otherwise you might be waiting forever, and Welcome to FFH where all your dreams come true! Good to have more spriters!

ShiruXIII, start with a sprite that looks closest to the character you want to create. In terms of hair wise, you should start with the male monk and try to add things from there. Good luck!

If you need something custom done, you almost always have to do it yourself. Spriters are in high demand and most are busy atm with JotF stuff. Like Twinees said, start with a frankensprite and try working from there.

As for your sword... that's going to be really tough to do. The level of detail allowed to weapons sprites is minuscule at best. Here's a weapons sheet with some of the weapons on it (ignore the text, this is the first example I found and I'm too lazy to find a better one):

...that's the most detail you can get for weapons sprites in fft. Your sword will be incredibly difficult to do in that much detail.

You're giving up without actually starting?

The easiest way to make the sword is replace the Save the Queen in the sheet above, first replace the blades colors from gray and white to the same blues and change the blues to browns on the hand guard. C'mon you can't be serious that that is hard...

Edit: I found this that I made a long time ago, just as an example, Save the Queen to blue Lightsaber. (http://i831.photobucket.com/albums/zz233/JonsBucketPics/Final%20Fantasy%20Tactics/savethequeen-lightsaber.png)
I made this in like 2 minutes, the quality is shitty I know but at least it works in game. I could make this with better quality now in probably a few minutes if I want good detail.

Not too shabby for a first try. I would widen the base of the blade on the angled sprite so it doesn't look like a triangle shape and instead matches the horizontal sprite more closely.

you can't have over 16 colors including the black background, so check that.

On top of the 16 colour thing, make sure that black is the first colour on your palette as it is the allocation of the transparency which needs to be black.

This topic shouldn't exist if nobody takes care of the requests...

Perhaps you didn't read the full title of the thread.

You're correct, it doesn't. If you go ahead and look back through the 65 pages of this thread I'm sure you'll find at least a handful of sprite requests that were fulfilled. In the meantime though I'd direct your attention to this fun little event edit that seems painfully related:

Good post Celdia, this video shows why nobody takes sprite requests very often. Making X sprite for Y patch that never actually gets done is a waste of time. Plus if its just for "your private use", wtf are we making it for, do it yourself.

This message isn't directed at anyone specifically, but noobs first learn to sprite by yourselves before making random demands like its your right.

Hey now Celdia, at least he's shown that he's willing to try.

That already puts him in the 1%. :V

That he's willing to try is great. He's got one frame done. Only about 30ish more to go and then the arms and he'll be done. If he sticks with it and works a little at a time he'll have a completed sprite to use.
