Hiding under the bridge would be ideal to hit the opposing force with swordskills.
Some archers up in the cliff would go for good damage at enemies in the river.

I think it woulkd be nice to have an open field to battle on, no weather other than sun, no fog, no obstacles of any kind really, just killing :D

Edit: I also think a beach much like this one (specifically in the top right corner) would be perfect for an FFT battle, mainly because all the squares are already there.
