Are you using a psx Iso/bin? Are you using Shishi?
What exactly is the issue you are having replacing it?

You don't need to rename anything to use it in Shishi, you just need to make sure
that you have the SEQ and SHP Types correctly

You need to give me more info man. I'm not trying to be blunt. But I can't tell you what Type without knowing which sprite you are using..

Step 1: Download sprite from main site. (Taking not of the TYPE listed there)
Step 2: Using Shishi, import custom sprite (first making sure that the one it is replacing has been set to the correct type)
Step 3: Profit

As for PSP I dunno, I've done both PSX and PSP this way and not had an issue in the past, but I haven't played the PSP one in quite some time
so I may be incorrect.

Hope this helps.

Also, check the tutorials section.

NOTE: In the future it's probably best if you don't post 3 times before someone is even able to reply to your question...

1.) close all programs except google.
2.) at ffhacktics pafe, go to downloads > custom sprites > download sepiroth.spr/sepiroth.bmp.
3.) open shishi sprite editor > import iso (the fft iso that you are using) > then go to the sprite that you want to replace.
4.) import bmp/spr in the upper left drop down box and pick the sepiroth bmp/spr that you just downloaded.

sepiroth is a type 1 character. so the SEQ and SHP should be type 1 too.

First off, be patient and don't multipost. Not everyone here specializes in PSP stuff, so you may have to wait. Be patient, and someone will surely be able to help you, but not if you keep breaking rules.

PSP versions may need to be brought down to .spr size right? Unless he is emulating the psx iso wouldn't there be a sizing issue because the psp iso isn't extended to hold larger sized sprite files?

Elric! :| You should have known the sprite was seph... dead give away with random account creation + avatar + name :P

1. Get magic iso, choose your fft iso, extract unit.bin
2. Open unit.bin you must open them using the evntgroup (sp?) program.
3. There you just import a .bmp of the position it shows (not the full sheet) and it will have that changed in your iso.

If you can't open your iso in magic iso, guess on the method to open (it won't harm your iso) I think it is track 1 and something...
