by the way are there any other modding tools not in the download section like alma? i am very new to this so i assumed everything was there...

You could just look here (http://ffhacktics.com/smf/index.php?topic=6327.0), or in this very section. The Downloads page is fairly out-of date because a lot of the newer tools are still seeing updates.
