If so, what movies would you guys like to see? This is my general list so far:
1) Shaun of the Dead 2) Dawn of the Dead 3) Scary Movie 4) Evil Dead
Also, I already know PGF is going to vote for The Craft. Calling it now.

In order of most want to least want: 1. Evil Dead 2. Dawn of the Dead (the old one in the shopping mall, not the shitty remake) 3. Scary Movie OR Shaun of the Dead - it's a tie.

Dude, what the fuck, why didn't you put that comment in there before I posted?
Honestly, the Craft hasn't aged well. I still like it, I like how it's a female-oriented movie, and I love the actresses in it, but it doesn't work as well as it used to.
Hard Candy, with Ellen Page, is a good cringe movie. So is An American Crime. Brittany Murphy doesn't have many horror movies, except that one with Michael Douglas (where she blew me the fuck away during the first half of the movie), and maybe Freeway.
All very fucked up movies.
If you want some real horror movies, here they are: Dark City In The Mouth Of Madness I'll go look at my dvd collection tommorow.

lets say someone, like me, obtains these movies, then streams them. Everyone who wants to watch will tune in, IP maybe, or a streaming channel to view them.

YOU are disappoint? After a list from that era, *I* am disappoint. How has no one listed this yet? It can't be that there's a PG rating limit on this idea...
Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0073629/)

For even more Tim Curry on your Pumpkin Pie, give The Worst Witch (http://horrordigest.blogspot.com/2010/10/worst-witch-has-anybody-seen-my.html) a try. Plus, it has an adorable Fairuza Balk in it, so there you go.

If you want a light hearted cult classic, how about Hocus Pocus (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0107120/)?
Notable parts of the movie: - The main character is 14 years old and is constantly harassed about being a virgin. - Plenty of fanservice for those into women that are in their 40s. - The "steal children's souls" thing that the witches do might be an allegory for pedophilia.
Fun for the whole family!

I'd only watch a modded version of that movie, with more violence. Though it does get +1 for a cute as a button Thora Birch.

Its quite clear that people want it to happen. We should vote who, and which videos we want.
Shaun of the Dead Dawn of the Dead Scary Movie Evil Dead 1 Evil Dead 2 The Amityville Horror (1979) Pet Sematary (1989) The Omen (1976) The Shining (1980) The Thing (1982) Hell Raiser Army of Darkness Dark City In The Mouth Of Madness Rose Red Insidious The House that Dripped Blood (1971) Blood on Satan's Claw (1971) Eraserhead (1977) Fright Night (1985) Halloween(1978) Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) The Worst Witch Hocus Pocus
If a topic doesn't get made for the voting, or this one edited soon, I'll go ahead and make one.

I need someone to start acquiring videos on the list. My internet's too sucky to do so myself.

Haha, I remember watching it as a kid and finding it pretty enjoyable. I just listed that stuff to get some interest, as it's a comedy and not a horror film :P

If each movie is about 2 hours, I'm guessing we should do about 6 movies to cover half the day?
Title: Re: Should FFH Have a Halloween Movie Night?

wow! Okay, then we should vote on the 10-12, or more movies then.

We could do a full day if people want, but then we'd need to find a second streamer.

true. But lets find a/some streamer(s) and see how long they can, or are willing to stream for. Then with that pick movies in that timeline.
