I loved the 80s power ballad narrating the story.

I think it started having awesome potential about the time the first Batman: The Animated Series season went on the air. Haven't seen a whole lot live up to that though.

Oh, it's always had potential, it's just that a lot of shows recently are starting to actually reach it.

My little pony, this, adventure time, Avatar... Are we entering a platinum age of animation or something, I wonder.

There have been plenty of good shows over the past decade or so.

Gargoyles deserves to be mentioned again.  Cause, damn.  Shattering people with a mace, anyone?
