Title: replacing wotl soundtrack
Post by: theultrawolf on July 01, 2011, 04:21:24 am
okay, well it's definitely well known that the soundtrack/sounds of wotl are very much less audibly stimulating, not to mention left out at parts, and I've been trying to see if there's any potential way to rip the sound from the original and put it on the wotl iso? would it be simple as that or would it require more work?

I think the sound and soundtrack are exactly the same. I think your problem is the lag not the sound effects or music themselves.

Even if this isn't the case, ripping and replacing would be WAY more effort than it would be worth and no one has or is likely to do anything like that ever.

Actually, part of the problem is actually the sound effects themselves. Apparently when they were recording the sound effects, or throwing them into the game or something, they left out some important details like reverb. A lot of the sound effects are therefore massively different from the original (for example, Shadowblade/Night Sword). It is rather annoying,
