1) is the message the same in cursive and printing? 2) is it a pure cypher? 3) is there a difference between capitals and lower case?

1-No, the message just carries on utilizing cursive in the latter half to further obfuscate the text. The symbols in cursive form look close to their standard counterparts though(most anyway) 2- not sure what that means.. there are letters and, (big hint) 2 non-letters, plus a couple symbols that represent more than letters. 3- no.

pure cypher as in "symbol = letter" ie -> al bhed is a cypher.
