You must inflict or cancel a status to use that formula.
Any way to make an ability heal a fixed % of Hp without having to inflict a status?

You could always add *Defend* or *Evil looking*(Whatever thats do) ?
There isn't currently a formula that heals a % amount to my knowledge. The best you could do is make all jobs absorb a certain element and then use the demi formula with said element.
I created a custom "Inflict status" that All or nothing inflicts the top status in the FFPatcher, and it worked
