Umm, hi i'm new to this sorta thing. I wanted to get Lioneditor for my PSP slim. I have version 3.80. I understand I need a downgrade, but what too? Anyway, what would I need to get started? Also would someone help me out with this?

To edit your save files yourself with the Lion Editor, you'll need custom firmware.

hi welcome to the forum!
well anyway since you are over 3.50 you will need a pandoras battery of which puts your psp into service mode to downgrade in order to obtain a pandoras battery you have 2 choices
and pandoras battery is not the only thing you need,
you will also need a Magic Memory Stick (Preferibly 1 gb do not use 4gb or higher)
this is easily done on command prompt
and once you have them both you will downgrade to sony's 1.50 firmware and from there its a straight shooter to custom firmware
I may have been shady at some parts but google is your friend ^_^

- 2) and the simple way is just to purchase it at datel I suggest this because now you can keep it on the side if anything goes wrong

Datel is a website? I can't buy from websites atm. Is there any stores that sell that kinda thing? I don't think I would be able to do it right now, I would need those things first, and that magic memory stick you were talking about, I can get that anywhere? Or would someone be able to make me a pandora battery...somehow..lol. Or help me. I took a look at the other thread and someone said they would make the man a pandora battery, how though? o.o

NEVER pull up the pin when you open ur battery! there is a wire connecting to the pin u hav to put a gash in it. after ur done using it as a pandora use graphite (a pencil) and color in the gash. Now u dont hav to buy a new battery.

I'm only interested in this, cause it looks fun to edit sprites and stuff. Also my friend asked me if I could get him a savefile for his game, cause he wants characters you can't get. I asked in a forum, cause someone was making game saves for people. And I decided to see if I could do it myself. But this looks fun too. He also lent me his PSP just to get him the files..haha. :/

well unless you're good with wireing I can make a save for you I have time and no i dont think you can find the Pandoras battery at stores

I don't want anything special, just about 5-6 items added to my inventory. If you could get that done really soon (I'm free now) I could PM you information.
