I'm want to edit Ramza.
I have a psp iso.
I want to go into the iso and edit ramza; so I could Change him, name, gender, Zodiac, class, etc.
Where is the file that stores Ramza and how do I edit him?
FFT Patcher, tactext, and shishis sprite editor are available on the homepage.
Okay I just got FFTactext.
Where is Ramza?
You have to find him.
Are you changing his name? I believe that is in the attack out bin.
Thanks for your help.
I'll wonder around the text files for awhile.
I keep getting this error when I try to patch the ISO in Tactext.
[center:3uya8cji]Error:
DTE for BOOT.BIN 5 failed.
The ISO has NOT been modified.[/center:3uya8cji]
I'm patching a PSP version of the game.
Ugh. Ok, a ton of psp users are getting this error.
Have you ever tried the original PSX version? It's much easier to patch.
OK, humor me and try something here.
Save your changes as a .fftext file. Then, open that .fftext file anew and THEN try patching it from the ISO.

Thanks eternal. There is so many problems with damned psp editing. :p
@External248:
Okay I hope I humored you.
Didn't work

@Ffta707:
I do have 2 original FFT psx game disks.
I'll rip the data off that and make it a .img file.
Then I'll try patching it to the psx version.
EDIT:
Wow that was fast!
I ripped the data off the disk and now have a .img.

Haha. Good Idea. It'll be much faster, safer, and less buggy this way. You could always patch it with complete to add the psp script to the psx version. You only loose 2 new jobs, but there is no slowdown.
Huh, strange. When similar issues as your's happen on the PSX version, usually that bypasses it. Sorry.
No harm done Eternal248.
I'll just patch the PSX version instead.
Besides If you look at the patching programs they are all compatible with the PSX version.
Thanks for the you two!
Alas, I have yet one more question.
How do I make characters, so that when I start the game they are in my party.
Like Delita.
