I won't believe any release dates for DNF until it is actually released.

"hopes to release" As for the whole promise they can't fulfill... It has been over a decade since the game was announced, having been delayed even more times than "Too Human" (which was also not worth the wait)

to be fair, starcraft 2 was eventually released, so this does stand some sorta chance.

Blizzard always takes forever though. Starcraft Ghost was the only high profile game they didn't finish, and that's because they put it in the hands of an outside developer.

Yeah when it comes to releases Blizzard is even worse than Squeenix(still waiting on information on versus 13 or for that matter... something dealing with that PS3 "test" demo)

QuoteThings that have taken less time than Duke Nukem Forever's Development:
Pop Culture:

    * The Beatles formed, released every single one of their albums and broke up. During this time they also toured the world several times.
    * Led Zeppelin released 7 albums, 9 singles, and toured around the world, crossing international borders 27 times (not counting mainland Europe.)
    * Calvin and Hobbes started in syndication, over the years became widely considered as the best comic strip ever made, then was ended by its creator.
