Final Fantasy Hacktics

Eternal248 as you know him have been a purveyor of many great projects here on FFH. He is the storyboard artist for Mercenaries and worked on a lot of the script. He is the maker of FFT: NewType as well as the ever present FFVI: Hardtype. It seems that his health has taken a turn for the worse and was hit with appendicitis. He has been a friend and inspiration to us all here at Final Fantasy Hacktics and by far has been the greatest friend I've ever met online.

I ask that we all wish for him to heal, to recover from this ailment. I want him to know that he is wanted by this community. Let us give him all the support we can!

My thought's go out to you my friend. Don't let this illness beat you down and turn you towards despair. Remember, you have friends here who want to see you well. You can conquer this, you're a strong man. I await your return to here.

no, we don't have plenty of pheonix down, you made them so over priced, and in this economy, we can't afford them :p

I went to the ER, and they performed a battery of tests, including blood tests, X-Rays, blood cultures, etc. Most everything came back normal, except my white blood cell count was slightly elevated, but that could easily have been from my fever earlier in the day. Luckily, it's not appendicits. The pain in my side was most likely caused by my fits of coughing/vomitting, which could have pulled the muscle in my side.

The doctor I had (who was very rude, btw) told me I had to see a Gastroenterologist and a sinus specialist- of course, that's not easy to do when you don't have insurance.

Sadly, this means that I went to the ER- racked up probably over a thousand dollars worth of tests- and got nowhere. But hey, at least I'm alive!

Thanks again for the well-wishes, it's nice to see them. Sadly, however, work on FFVI Revision might go a little slower than anticipated. I swear, my mind hasn't been quite here lately, and it's been hard for me to get a lot of things I want to work. So I ask that you keep patient, and I'll do my best to get it out by the end of fall!

I would like to suggest that you concentrate on eating well especially now that your system is down

you probably don't feel like eating right now but try to force yourself to keep stuff down

the extra healthy calories will help more than you would think in aiding recovery

that energy has to come from somewhere, and letting your body burn itself down for it won't help in the slightest (this is why people lose weight when sick, never a good sign)

i had this happen to me when i was 13, and all they would let me eat was soup and ice chips. they wouldnt even let me drink water

You're being treated by House?

If I were treated by House, I'd probably be feeling better by now. =P

Actually, if you were being treated by House, after that one surgery where they were doing explorative surgery and you had a seizure/cardiac arrest combo, you would have gone under a life saving treatment that would either save you or kill you, only for at the last minute, House is getting bitched at by Wilson, only to suddenly realize that you actually have some easily reverse-able ailment, that IRL doesn't actually fit the symptoms most of the time, so he runs into the operating room, punches out a doctor and injects you with something and you are cured moments later, with no need for physical therapy, or no long term effects to worry about.
