Yeah, I'm right alongside with K-Suto. I remember the excitement on the GFs board when Zodiac released the spreadsheet, when Philsov started working on the 1.1 patch, then the 1.2, and when Karsten entered the scene with the offer to host their work.
Then Philsov was devoured by pterodactyls and I was very sad.

I remember asking about philsov to Zodiac when the first ideas for 1.3 were being thrown around. Zodiac gave me a pretty harsh words reply about philsov abandoning everything one day without saying a word.
What did you guys do to the poor guy??

I think I saw a link on GameFAQs in one of the 1.3 topics. I mostly ignored it though. However I found myself watching Voldemort7's WotG videos on youtube and halfway through them he started spamming this site. It was kind of annoying really but then I finished the videos and wanted more. Thats when I saw the 1.3 test vids which won me over.

Miraculously, I visited GFaqs FFT board after a couple of years of inactivity and found you (Zodiac) talking about haxing stuff with your spreadsheet along with philsov. That's when I picked up FFT again and it became my favorite game. From there, I've been with you all the way. Well, almost. Which reminds me, I still haven't made a full patch yet and now Voldemort7 has "corrected" FFT. I need to make a specialty patch now. Ah! I know what I can do! (runs off to New Project section).

i looked for a save editor for wotl found lion editor on a googlecode page and then saw the patcher, not much info there on it so i searched and well here i am, never even seen it on gamefaqs oh and boobies..... yay for boobies

Same as many others, I saw the 1.2 thread a t GameFaqs and it seemed like a dream come true, after reading a lot about what Karsten, Philsov, and Zodiac had to say on the subject ( I think?) I headed over to the advertised site and was thoroughly amazed by the amount of customization which was possible, and now here I am.

However, we didn't have the tools to make easily accessible patches. Instead, we were forced to use Gameshark and enter code after code after code to get temporary results. Obviously, the GS had to be reloaded every time. I don't think there was any knowledge on ENTD editing, or full sprite importing (I don't think anyone was aware of the battle animations thing that was later settled).
Then one day, a guy under the name "ZodiacFFTM" appeared. He was kind of a grating and annoying guy, but you could deal with him. Soon enough, he decided to make the Excel Spreadsheet. Suddenly I found him not-so-annoying. He made the only tool I could ever ask for. And, you know, typical "Philsov does this and karsten makes the site" event that happens afterward.
So yeah, I rolled in from GFAQs when Karsten built the site. I don't contribute much... in fact I lurk this board pretty much all the time. But hey, I'm member number 4!

i heard of the excel sheet that let you alter the game, i think off of gamefaqs there was a link or something... i never could get the spreadsheet to work right, but like 2 days later fftpatcher was released and ive been here ever since.

I used to be pretty active on the G-FAQ's FFT board a few years ago, but I stopped for a long while. I picked up FFT about a month ago and went to check out the boards. This site seemed to be all the rage over there. So here I am, amazed at the technology.
Back when I was on the FFT board I only remember Gameshark hacking and how hard that was for me. This place is a godsend, makes my life easier.

I found fftpatcher one day while browsing the web (I think I was looking for tools for modding my PSP). A few weeks (or months?) later I decided I wanted to make a mod for FFT so I started googling for information on fftpatcher. That lead me to here.

I decided to tear vanilla FFT apart to new levels using epsxe save states, being as I ownd all on my old psx.

Failed a class in college, got cut off from parents/scholarship. Starting working 2 jobs while still going to school. Cut off my cable/internet because I didn't have the money to keep them up and its not like I had much free time in the first place.

I heard about this place in google, after hearing about fftpatcher (and lioneditor) on gamefaqs, since everyone is requesting patches there. I just wanted multiplayer items at first, but now Im busy all day with a bad FFT patch.
