So I just got the Adobe Master Collection CS3, yesterday..
And I'm still pretty confused on how to use a lot of things on the Photoshop.
I guess CS3 isn't so new, but it was free so I couldn't pass it up.
I was just wondering if anyone had much experience in it or knew of a good guide that'd help with learning (if anything, just) the features of photoshop that would be useful for spriting.
I've never used photoshop before, I used to watch my friend use it but there was so much going on I couldn't follow. x_x
She was an expert with it and I ad never even seen it before!
Edit:
Also any help with spriting in general would also be very appreciated. o=
I'm new to all this, but I'd like to try my hand!
Try some youtube tuts just get a sense of of how tools work. Maybe just do some simple designs and mess with everything. Keep notes on features you would imagine benefitial for spriting.
The main thing is understanding the function of layers, though I suppose that is likely common knowledge now adays, and then just start messing with the main tools. Then tuts like Lijj said.
