So, yeah, this sucks ... but at least it's decent for having absolutely no reference to go to (besides colors). I could really use some suggestions to keep this going - if anyone has any. Wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have to do it in a 45 angle... ugh.

Maybe this would be a suitable guide:

Yes, Eternal did mention making a caitie or whatever that is. Looks disgusting.
Vanya just suggested it as a reference, not to make one!
It does look like a decent reference, in my eyes, too!
I bet cactaur will be real easy, once you get the main poses down.
I can't imagine them having too much movement for casting, attacking, etc, etc.
For casting they typically just reverse the order of their arms. Right arm goes down, left arm goes up, as seen in FFVIII.
That Cactite ... not sure how I'd work off of that. For now though, I'm going to leave this alone until I can get a little more feedback. ^^
Here's something:

Yeah, haha, saw that too. It's a shame it didn't have a 45 degree base I could work with.
The nice thing about Cactaurs is that they only have like 3 or 4 poses.
Good point Vanya! the two frame run is so cute for the Cactaur.
