I want to start spriting, but I dunno where to start.
First, the game itself.
I only have a .cso game.
then, I do have the iso compresser, but it only changes my game into winrar folders.
Anyone knows how to solve this problem? (or knows where to download an new game? for psp then)

It is pretty probable that your WinRAR is set to be able to open .iso files. Therefore, those WinRAR folders you mention might be your .isos; if you want to do a little check, try 'Properties' under the right-click menu, and then look for the program it opens and click 'change...'. The full name of the file, along with its extension, should appear.
[note: this might be outdated, I'm running on a Windows XP]
Alternatively, you could download Shishi Sprite Editor here on FFHacktics and see if it opens this supposed .iso. If it does, it surely is an iso file.

Okay.
I can open it on Shishi.
BUT I can only open it on psx and im 99% sure its an psp game.
And when I open it on psx, I get all strangly coloured images.
I want to show it, but I dunno how.

I believe taking a screenshot or similar, and then hosting it in imageshack (it's free and register-less) would be an option.

I believe that would be a garbled bit of map texture. I don't see a CSO being likely to work. Download a real iso, uncompressed, or the game and you will have more luck. Though really if you are going to do much hacking you will likely want the PSX version and do emulation because the majority of tools here are designed for that. Even shishi can only do so much with the psp version of the game.

Hmmm, allright, Ill download it again.
Anyone has a good link? Took weeks to get the one I have now.
Im fine with psp, I dont want the hack the whole game.
And I dont have a ps1 anymore, just a ps2 and a ps3.
