Title: ERROR: Cannot Decrypt File
Post by: CidIII on June 13, 2008, 10:20:07 pm
I have an un-patched iso file of WotL and when I go to patch the changes I've made with FFT Patcher it says, "Cannot decrypt file".

Any thoughts?

Hmm... you've seen that the ISO works, right?

Hmm... you are of course applying a PSP Patch to a PSP ISO?

Yep it has Luso and Balthier.

I'm copying a new .iso

**Edit**

Got a new .iso didn't work either...

Definitely puts a halt to my General Leo, and Tellah

We cannot let this be! Alright, now to think of what all possible problems could be... you are patching it with the patcher and it's not working you say? Now, different ISO's... Cannot Decrypt File, seems to say that it's not going to be that simple... hmm... try saving the patch and reloading the patch, it's a long shot and I doubt it will work, but... hmm...

You did uncheck Read Only right?

Well I exited out of that patch and made a new one, I made no changes just testing to see if it would patch and it still wouldn't.

I saved the patch reloaded it, didn't work...

I downloaded a new FFT Patcher tried it didn't work.

It must be something with my disc, that's not allowing the patcher to decrypt it. I don't need the 'FFTSaveHook.prx' to decrypt it like with lion edit do I?

**EDIT**

LOL thanks Kenshin, I thought I checked that
