Wow....that actually looks great. Though, is it me or is the map bigger than the usuals...

Not bad, definetly interesting idea, however you kinda have some weird shadows going there...but nevertheless I like this ;)

Very cool Mike. Have you checked out the new FFT Map editor? I think the shadow thing Jon is talking about is likely just due to your light source being too close.

This is sweet, Mike :) Btw, have you got this full sheet of that custom sprite?

You could in theory get rid of your Mike Sprite character's right arm here and instead put the slashing/punching arm (straight punch arm) instead as if he was pointing down on Ramza like an order. Then add a finger with whatever program you were using to make this, Photoshop, GG, I have no idea...also have a sword protruding out of Delita's back like High Priest Funeral has it, and this pic will shine greatly! Nice work overall, which I forgot to mention ;)

Very ethereal image you got there, MiKe; I like it. Was this just done as a hobby, or are you doing this for a project you're working on?

QuoteWow....that actually looks great. Though, is it me or is the map bigger than the usuals...

Yup.. the map is bigger than the sprites.

Quotehowever you kinda have some weird shadows going there

If you compare it to the original Mandalia Plains, the shodow isn't that much different. (i think) :)

QuoteHave you checked out the new FFT Map editor?

Whoa. That really caught my interest. Thanks for telling me Sir Cheetah.

Quotehave you got this full sheet of that custom sprite?

I just checked the latest file; What's left are the critical poses and attack poses.
Other than that, it's complete.

Quoteon Ramza like an order. Then add a finger with whatever program you were using to make this, Photoshop, GG, I have no idea...also have a sword protruding out of Delita's back like High Priest Funeral has it, and this pic will shine greatly!

Nice idea there. Btw, I used 3ds max for the plains, and GIMP for editing. :}

QuoteWas this just done as a hobby, or are you doing this for a project you're working on?

As of now, I consider this as a hobby. I have other things in mind ATM.
Hopefully I can get back my interest in helping with the projects here again.

~Thanks all for the comments!
