Hi there people. I came here seeking help with some error that has happened when I was trying to insert a certain sprite into Shishi Sprite Editor.

And I can't really figure out what's wrong.

This is the sprite I am trying to put in - it's a edit by myself mixing Reno and Ramza. I was only gonna use it for home purposes, so I decided not to post it here yet. Yes, it has only 16 colors, checked with GraphicsGale.
So, is there anything I can do to fix this problem of mine?
Correct. The limit is 16 colours but that's for the sprite. You need 256 colours in order to import to Shishi and work in game.
And how exactly am I going to have more 240 colors on that?
Well, Reno should be 256 colours. So, just change hair colour to Ramza, swap the head, and done.
Or, you can add colours using GIMP (I'm not sure about GraphicGale) to 256 colours.
EDIT: Or you could save the file as 256bmp file.
Done it, but now it is another matter...

Well, that's because you probably did not change the palettes from Reno. You need to get the 16 colours and swap them into the spritesheet. Hmm....I get the red but does Reno have greens?
Nope, not that I know of.
And how to swap the palettes? Is it GIMP?
Hmm....Well, both GraphicGale and GIMP able to do so.
So I have to switch the palettes in GG?
Sounds easy.
