So when I start it it says '' The program can't start because burutter.dll is missing from your computer.'' Even though it is right in the folder. This happened to me the first time I got EPSX just under a year ago. I figured out how to do it then, but for the life of me I can't now. Any help?
I just use pSX Accurate Emulator. EPSXE annoys the hell out of me with all its plug-ins.
If you still prefer EPSXE, I'm sorry but I can't help.
Oh, the dll needs to be in a different folder, not the EPSXE folder. I believe you need to move burutter.dll to the WINDOWS/System folder.
Er... I think there's a folder in the EPSXE folder it's supposed to go in, not the system folder. I've never had to mess with the system folder to make EPSXE work.
New thought: I looked at my espxe 1.60 folder, and the burutter.dll file is just in the regular folder, not in any subfolder (I don't know why I thought it had to go to the System folder...). I'd suggest downloading epsxe again, and see if that solves the problem.
Now it says I need Zlib1.Dll. But that isn't in the folder at all? Hmm I feel like theres something else I was supposed to download but for the life of me I can't remember? Could anyone point me in the right direction? Or put there EPSX folder on megaupload or send it to me or something. I don't know. I'm frustrated!
