What if there were different Martial Arts support skills? How would they change the Hand to Hand damage formula?
Brazilian Ju-Jitsu: Changes atttack formula to Damage = (SP*Brave/100)*PA? (SP*Brave/100)*SP?
Tai Chi: Changes attack formula to Damage = (MA*Brave/100)*PA? (MA*Brave/100)*MA?
Muay Thai: Damage = ([{SP+PA}/2]*Brave/100)*([SP+PA]/2)
Falon Gong: Damage = (MA*Faith/100)*([PA+MA+SP]/3)
Greco-Roman Wrestling: Damage = (PA*Brave/100)*PA*(5/4 if unit has "oil" status)*(5/4 if unit is wearing buttpants)
Drunken Kung Fu: Damage = ([Random:PA, MA, or SP]*[{Random:Brave or Faith}/100])*(Random: PA, MA, or SP)
Tifa: Damage = (PA*Brave/100)*PA*(Circumference of Chest in Inches/10)
Drunk Fu. Fuck yeah.
Anyone ever seen Equilibrium? It looks like a Matrix rip-off starring Christian Bale, but it's pretty damn good.
Anyways, what would a Gun Kata skill set look like? Pew pew pew!
Tae Kwan Do = (PA*SP)^10
EDIT: but seriously, Tae Wan Do would probably have the same equation as Muay Thai
Judo = [(PA+Sp)*Br/100] * PA
*DELETED*
Equilibrium is great. I eventually had to buy a copy, since I found myself renting it once every few months for a few years there.
Also,
QuoteGreco-Roman Wrestling: Damage = (PA*Brave/100)*PA*(5/4 if unit has "oil" status)*(5/4 if unit is wearing buttpants)
= lolociraptorz

except Muay Thai is a hell of a lot more fun
boxing is more fun than learning ways to screw with other peoples nerves and joints?
hapkido = [(Sp*2)*Br/100]^2
