I know it's generally a bad idea to use another sprite for Ramza's because he has more poses than all the other sprites, but are any of the custom sprites on here suitable for replacing his? And if so, which ones? (Is this the right thread or does this go somewhere else?)
Nope, Special sprites movement are done by evtchr, another kind of spritage. Whatever sprite you remplace ramza with, he will look like a moron with discolored overalls.
I'd say that should be in the Help ! section, but it does fit here anyway.

If you use a custom sprite, you must change all ramza event sprites.
Which is a hard thing to do for beginners.
