Title: Text problem's
Post by: Jumza on October 17, 2009, 03:18:28 pm
I'm having problems with my discriptions and i can't seem to find any problems with it so i was wondering if someone who was good with fftactext could go through it and tell me the problems so i could fix it.

Here are the screenies you wanted thats what happens when you want to see a discription and i was told that i had lotsa text problems and thats why it did that.

Screen shots and a bit more description might help.

usually the game goes ballistic like that if you try to access something with an error (bad description, for example).

What triggered this?  Specifically.  c/p that bit up here.

ok this is juust making me sad now... i cant open my text :(
one hint that may help people figure out why is that  i have to keep my fftactext data in files instead of pulling  from iso everytime cuz of a problem i have with it.

(i would edit but no one notices those)

something is wrong with the text now like i changed the duke job to blue mage for this guy and he was a duke again and crusader and necromancer went back to normal...It also seems to be changing my iso a time mage tried to cast slow and i got an error.

So.. you can't access your tactext file, but you can change the text itself?  How the heck does that work?

Get a clean iso and start over.
