A friend of mine fought off a bear a couple days ago. He walked around the corner outside the fishing club and in doing so had cornered a 4-5 year old black bear. Now that this bear is pissed by being cornered, my friend had no choice but to charge fists blazing and won.
Now I know one person will say "Why in the hell would you charge the bear?!". Well it was seeing the bear rearing back to swipe and taking the chance opening to attack to scare it off.
This is the same job where my friend was cornered by a bobcat and struck by lightning. If someone hadn't witnessed him getting struck by lightning I wouldn't believe it but there were witnesses. And the whole point of me telling you this is to say:
"In the Colorado Rockies, You maul the bears!"
P.s. Yes I did ask him if he was Russian, and no.
I'm Russian and I haven't seen any bears... Waht do they look like?
I'm glad all of the bears in NY state live upstate. Not that they'd be able to survive within the city limits though. The folks in New Jersey always seem to have bears roaming through their backyards though.
