Holy shit, this was fuckin' funny.
Especially, since I just went back and beat this fucker on Friday.
Hah! Nice.
Yeah, Castlevania 1-3 were/are amazing.
classic, never played the NES ones, i hope they release one on a new gen console.
There is Dracula X Chronicles for PSP, and supposedly they're doing Castlevania ReBirth for WiiWare.
I can't wait to see the next AVGN marathon episode. ^_^

Simon's Quest was BAD
Fusso, GTFO.
Simon's Quest was the best one. Far more indepth, night/day shifting, rather metroid-like in execution, especially with those white/red/blue orbs for going back through places.
Anyways, the worst part about Castlevania I? Jumping. It's actually kinda... real. I'm so used to being able to shift in midair, but this game won't let me, and that's just horrible >_</
I have never played a Castlevania in my life
watching this will be good
also, the music for these games was always amazing
EDIT: rofl @ the credits and cookie monster
part 1 was hilarious

I fucking nearly pissed myself when he said "Unholy Cookie Monster"! ^_^

Castlevania music is fucking awesome. Beginning, Vampire Hunter, Bloody Tears, Iron Blue Intention, Dracula's Castle, Mad Forest, Tower of Dolls, Aquarius, Clockwork... just to name a few :P Right here: http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/245080 (http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/245080) ^^
Quote from: "Sephirot24"Castlevania Judgement has some great remastered music, and I remade the best version of Aquarius you'll find

Castlevania does have tons of great music.
Your Aquarius remix is very well done.
Thx a lot Aqua ^^
Did it all by ear.

great idea... bad bad execution
this game came in a time where sequels could be very very different (like this) or more like the same game with new levels
some of them were good... this one not
the game is almost unbeatable without a walkthrough or a guide, and not because it's hard, i think it is easier than the third one
but the exploitation of holy water and that hurricane in the cliff things are sign of a bad designed game
and the localization is worst than the fft
the only thing that it reminds me of metroid is the non-linearity
I admit the game is seriously flawed, but I wouldn't call it unbeatable without a FAQ.
I beat the game when I was 12, I just tried everything I could. I think modern gamers, and I'm not saying you are one, are spoild by useful clues and maps and shit.

I have fallen into that trap since I started playing games again
(modern games)
