when you first started, I thought you were dumb, and wouldn't last ten minutes
in actuality you have some amazing talent, and you've got some good english on you
good work for bucking the trend!
Practice makes perfect. His initial stuff was pretty mediocre to say the least. I think the Scholar is his "Eureka" sprite, as Rydia was for Kage. He should finish that sheet regardless of whether Lasting Dawn wants to use it for Mercenaries since it's breakthrough sprite for him.

I've been there too.
And I'm still there regarding portraits.
0.o...I didn't notice this spam...Thanks tithin ^^
Well, I AM dumb actually. I still remember when first I came in, I thought I can request whatever sprite that I want and there it is. Haha. Then someone told me, "if you want the sprite, make it yourself. If the particular sprite request isn't to be use for any of the projects in this forum and its only for your own sake, then no one will bother to make it."
Also, thanks to Asmo for all the harsh but honest critiques and everyone here in this forum, I've improved a bit of my skills. ^^
So, thank you all very much and I will try my best to improve more and contribute too ^^
jimmy, you arent dumb,if you were dumb, you would keep requesting sprites and never start working by yourself.
so you are not dumb
I like Jimmy. He is like a puppy. And he doesn't afraid of criticism.
Haha. Thanks ^^
And...puppy? May I know why, Darthpaul? ^^
And doesn't afraid of criticism...Most of the people here (actually I think all) don't afraid of criticism. Hehe. But thanks Darthpaul. I really appreciate it ^^
Anyway, I still have much much MUCH MORE to learn from all of you. ^^
Puppy's are loyal. You have not left, therefore puppy.
Ah, haha. Thanks Darthpaul. ^^
Well, I love FFT. So I won't leave that easily. Hehe ^^
Jimmy needs to give criticism though. He praises everything.
Everything deserves praise. Just that some things deserve sarcastic praise.

Well, I'm not good at criticism, unfortunately. Actually, its because I'm not a good spriter, don't really know well in spriting like shadings, details, outlines, highlights and etc, so I can't and don't know how to crit much. I would like to crit too but probably, the best I can say is "the shadings are a little bit off, the outlines are...., the sprite is looking bit weird, and all those minor crits. Unlike Asmo, everytime he crits, all the flaws, every details, mispixels, misshapes and etc are mentioned which some of those I didn't notice at all. So, I have to improve a lot myself before I can crit others. ^^
