Title: Underground Library First Floor (Wiegraf 2)

Does this battle have an invisible sprite that i'm missing?  I'm getting the 'more than 9 unique sprites' glitch on one of my sprites despite there being exactly nine.

I reduced it down to eight but I don't understand why i'm getting the glitch, unless Alma/Izlude is still on the map somewhere, but invisible.

Is that the one where Izlude is all like 'blah blah blah, shrine knights, blah blah blah' and then dissappears through that door? if so, I think that all sprites loaded with no break for a 'now loading' screen count in terms of the 9 unique sprites limit.

Which is odd for FFT... normally they don't load the sprites of the party until they have need to show them.

Nope, it's the final battle in Orbonne @ chapter 3 where you take on Wiegraf for the second time.  It's after the Izlude battle.

It starts off with Wiegraf + his team, and Izlude and Alma down in the corner.  Izlude and Alma disappear and then your team comes.  Despite them disappearing, i'm still getting the over 9 sprite glitch on one of my team members.

Just because the visible sprites are invisible doesn't mean that they aren't loaded into memory. If that's the case then of course they would affect your limit.
