Title: Another Roadblock...
Post by: Mirage on August 23, 2009, 01:44:38 pm
Ive finally got all the materials in order to hack my psp, but I encountered another problem..

Apparently there is no way to use the programs that formats your memory stick and I cant rewrite the content or "IPL" on my psp, because I am using Vista.

does anyone know what I can do to get past this?

What he said, so I recommend downloading a Linux OS like Debian.

However I tried installing Ubuntu on my Vista laptop and it crashed, then again it's got such a bad processor and so little RAM (plus it uses RAM-hog Vista) that even emulators for GBA and DOS bump its RAM consumption into the high nineties.
