okayy so i ripped the iso from my umd and i tried to put it on the memory stick and it says this "the disk is write-protected removed the write protection. how do i do that???

You need Custom Firmware and a magic memory stick.

well im tring to delete an iso off the memory cardd as well and it says i need to take off the protection to delete it as well

hmm...odd...I assume you DO have CFW, but did you modify the stick since putting the other ISO on?

no i dont think i did anything to it. before i used iso downloaded from the computer cuz i was 2 lazy to ripp my own. and i had 1.3 on here allreayd but then i deleted to update it and now its sumthing with a write protection. idk im confused.

Try it, but make sure you back up EVERYTHING on it or at least make it all easily reclaimable.
