Doesnt Desu mean "is"?
when people say desu desu, are they really saying "is is"? when people say "this needs more desu" are they saying "this needs more is"?
Desu means is. in japanese.
Desu means Death in Kana, meaning you would have to put the symbol to make sure you put that.
Am i getting that right? or should i be confused about another meaning?
IIRC, desu's closer to "it is," or "is it" depending on usage.
Statement, desu. = Saying that the statement is true.
Statement, desu? = Asking if the statement's true.
My knowledge of japanese is very limited though, so I could be way off.
Also, "needs more desu" is a reference to the Rozen Maiden meme if you didn't already know that one.
desu = desu
desu = death
desu = dessus (fr) = on (as in over)
desu = déçu (fr) = disappointed
desu = です
desu = ur mum
