For anyone who's a fan of the classic card game, there are a couple of nifty tools to make your own cards, I find myself rather drawn to such things, hehe. For instance here is an idea I had for Ultima. Probably a bit overpowered but...

Ah yes. A legendary card game deserves a set of legendary cards.
Very nice
Alone, no it doesn't make sense, I would eventually plan to make Alma and the whole "Bloodletting" mechanic, but aside from that... it would have been nice if I linked to the program...

I do wish I could remember, but yes it is one of my favorites, my definite favorite of Altima, as Altima 2 artwork is rare enough as is, I just find it rather telling that she's hanging on her second form, so a card to show both of them, no better picture would do. It's probably from one of the many Japanese sites I lurk upon to find artwork such as this (I have a rather sizable collection of FFT Fanart as it stands)

Yes i'm having lots of RL issues... in nay case i keep an eye when i can
BTW i had been creating FFT magic cards; i have something like 20-30 done and i was in the process of doing more is there's interest i might upload them somewhere
Ah? Well that would be perfect for this topic! Upload one or two a day, hehe.
can we see more of the artwork? Altima 1's art is amazing
I only noticed the wings on the head just now...
I've always thought them silly looking.
That is very much a 'Japan' thing.
Look at Morrigan & Jedah from Darkstalkers and Devilman.
Hell, the cockatrices from FFVIII & Crystal Chronicles have wings on their heads INSTEAD of on their bodies.
It's an interesting design if you can get over that initial reaction and think about the nature of the creatures. What better way to make a monster or demon look 'wrong'? Then when you think about how dangerous all the above beings are it stops looking so silly after a while.
I should check the A2 cockatrices. Crystal Defenders borrows most of its visuals from FFTA2.
