And I liked it! It's so strange... I dislike action RPGs...
FFT :WOtL is better anyway.
I played WoW for about two months before I got bored and quit. Biggest problem was that I couldn't make up my mind with which class to use. I ended up starting over half a dozen times and never got any further than level 30.
A hunter. A Tauren hunter is what you need.
yup.
liked it for a bit but then I reached max level and the only time I could ever progress as a character required parties or raid groups. It wasn't something I just sit down for <30 mins with. It was hour+ for the instance (neglecting the time spent just trying to get a good group together in the first place) or just masturbate in BGs and usually get rolled by whatever the op fotm class/spec was at the time.
edit: Tauren Shaman. usually enhancement but I was resto for a while as well.
I was a troll hunter. Got as far as the demo would let me and didn't feel like the game was worth 50 bucks and a subscription fee.
I was a human Warrior on Warsong. Made it all the way to Rank 14 Grand Marshall on the OLD PVP System (the one where you had to grind non-stop for 15+ hrs a day on competitive servers to move up past rank 11-14, or else you lost progress)
I was severely addicted to WoW PVP and honor farming in BG's.
Sold the Grand Marshall account to an IRL friend for 800 bucks, quit it for good.
I played it for about a year and then picked it up again when Burning Crusade came out. It was incredibly addicting and fun, but once you get to a certain point, it requires a lot of time dedication which can ruin a social life. I valued my social life over my WoW, so I gave WoW up.
Gnome warlock, and a bunch of other high level characters.
It's the current peak of PvE focused MMOs. I think the genre as a whole has a LOT of room to grow, but I get far more than enough entertainment out of it to justify the subscription fee.
I agree Kaijyuu, it does seem to be the best out there. And it is definitely worth the subscription. Especially if you have a group of e-friends that are at least decent at the game. Hell, they don't even have to be decent as long as they are entertaining. I've had times when the entire party wipes, but we still had fun getting our butts kicked.
Never played, never will.
Training in a game when you can train 3 times faster irl? are you fucking kidding me?
