Does FFCC: Echoes of Time play anything like the first FFCC? If so, blecch.
Not in the least. Magicite's been ditched in favor of good ol' MP, the spell fusion is easy as hell, and multiplayer is insanely fun and not hard to set up (love the DS for that, btw).
It's got some platforming, lots of innovative puzzles, and you can pick your buddies up, which is useful sometimes.
I'd give an arm and a leg for the source code.
Hm... I'd need to actually try that FFCC then to form a valid opinion. How would you emulate any of the special FFT jobs in that game?
I'm working on it, but I don't have enough ideas yet. I came up with this at 4 last night.
