ugh I don't think I could ever get one done
I haven't seen a single design I deem cool enough to warrant having it cut into my skin, and I am starting to doubt if I ever will
also not to be an ass but I can draw a better dragon than that
my prediction: you will wanna get it removed in the not too distant future

The WORST thing about tattoos is that you probably won't remain as physically fit as you are right now when you grow older, so the bad ass dragon on your back today will look like he spent some time in the microwave in a few years. This happens to those soldiers that go out and get the bikini woman tattooed on their forearms all the time.
She looks like all kinds of bad road with wrinkles and lumps and all that saggy skin. Started off a Betty Boop, but now she's Mrs. Droop.
It's cool that you had the balls to be still while they carved that into you, though.
...moderately distant future.
/shake fist
most of my friends who have tattoos keep telling me how addictive they are.
Careful! Soon you'll have some dragon whelps!
It's not really carving though.
Truth be told, it belonged to my friend Drake, before he passed away. first friend i made in florida, and he was always there to pull me out of shit.
His mom sent me the original sketch... this isnt the "exact" one he got, but its damn close, just an earlier version.
It looks alot better than in the picture. Its also not done. but after 5 hours, the guys hand was cramping, and i was to tender.
Well at least it is for a good reason. You have to get the for the right reason otherwise you will end up regretted it. I have had a tattoo for...holy crap 7 years, and haven't regretted it once.
I had a phrase tattooed across my heart some 2 years ago and I'll never regret it across 100 lifetimes.
The phrase is "Never forget that whilst I lived I loved you with all my heart, and my passing shall never take that away from you."
My great grandmother said to me the night before she passed away. Call me a pussy if you will I don't care.
Thats sentimental.
your a badass for getting a tattoo
Your a "sweet" badass for getting something sentimental =)
Thanks.
*bdink* Darthpaul's title has changed to Sweet Badass!
Nice tat, Sentinal. Looks terribly painful though.

pussy, jk thats reason enough for me
Sent should be the Fricken Sweet Badass.

I agree
Lol it didnt hurt until the 4rth hour, when he started doing the highlights.

this is a worthwhile tattoo
most are ridiculous, and while i think tattoos are pretty badass, i can't find anything i'd want on my body forever
Having the title of bad ass is much better than mad libber.
well I like, good choice SB
Maybe I should post a pic of my tattoo. I'm sure it would give SB a big boost in confidence and would definitely loose me major respect points around here.
i dont think so cheetah, unless its a pony
not if it's an apocalypse pony

dood,those're awesome
but no,I don't think you'll want it removed in the near future, maybe when you're an old guy,but not anytime soon
(but then I guess that it depends n your character, and I don't know you well enough to judge that...)
Its staying, Its to sentimental to remove. if i did, itd feel like i was removing Drake's memory from my life. not happening.
Post it cheetah, id like ot see it, and your right, the rest of these guys arent doing much for my confidence

thanks to those who are
NecroBumping this thread.
I am getting a new tattoo in the upcoming weeks to honor a friend who passed the other day.
He had a Griever tattoo on his forearm that he got when one of his own friends who bore the tattoo passed away.
Cancer may have taken him too soon but I'm keeping his memory alive through an image all who knew him understood.
It may be an image from FFVIII, but it is also a symbol of strength that he showed through his last hour.
Three weeks until I go under the needle. Bring it on.
That is interesting. A third generation memorial tattoo. Griever has always been very symbolic anyways.
Sorry for your loss, DP. Taking on the Griever tattoo is fine way to honor your friend.
i have about 17 tattos now
all in my right arm
but your is pretty cool
all mine are based on covers of old prog rock albums
