Now that ive got my new laptop(that can actually run an EMU without freezing) i can pick back up on work.
Judging from the last public release; what are your suggestions? aside from changes i have mentioned in other topics...what would you guys like to see changed or added?

I only played a limited amount, but the only main thing I can add you know already; that is text edits inserted. With any patch that changes so many things, having the ability to read and discover what they do in game makes a world of difference in terms of getting into the game! After that is done I'd love to play around and give more insight.

Yeah. Now that we have a working verison of the text editor (and I think a new one is coming to fix some bugs?) I heavily encourage Modders to change every text piece they can accordingly to the new items and Abilities, as it makes it much more fluid to try out the patch than coming here every 2 seconds and skip through 10 topics to see what ability does what.

As far as abilities and jobs go...???
also as long as im making new effects... would you guys have any suggestions for some effects taht would go well with a custom ability? like a new effect for Torrent, or a new one for Mana Leak

Yeah as I said I knew you were working on that already, but I wanted to post anyway about being excited for that. I also meant to say of course, very happy you have a new laptop and that you are back to work on SoR! I hope that dealing with the post-theft trauma went as well as it could, considering the facts...

Suggestion: Give someone innate train. Maybe even the Amplifiers... Since there's going to be so many delicious changes to monsters and currently there are no classes that can tame them.

Haha, going ot ruin a huge surprise here
A long time ago vanya mentioned something to me that spurred alot of interest; turning the soldier office into a monster pen, like in FFTA. except more advanced, with monster breeding and training and slaughtering(no need to poach anymore).
It would give a bit of awesomeness to it. unfortunatly, i lost all starting work on it, so its going ot be a LONG while. probably the last hack i make before finishing Exodus and starting on SoR events.
Until then, does innate tame on the amplifier sound decent?
