Aren't the FFTA/A2/RW sprites already in that style?
You can use those as bases.

FFT sprites are chibi style. Try those.

we have a sprite request thread and many people who easily get pissed at rediculous demands from people who don't at least attempt it.

No the heads are two small for chibi.

Chibi is normally 2-2.5 heads tall the FFT sprites are 4 or 5 heads.
